Schattdecor course, pattern for the Future Retirement Home
The pattern Like at Home was designed with Schattdecor and selected for the digital VISIONS catalog. The project applies to a particular place, the future retirement home. My idea comes from an interpretation of the necessary phenomenon, “Feeling at Home”. I made a visual translation of that feeling in the form of patterns cast by the sun on the ceiling and walls of my bedroom.

KRISTOFF fine porcelain internship
techniques: tracing paper, collage, gold painting
I combined the classic design of KRISTOFF fine porcelain with recycled tracing paper, found in an old magazine. I used a hand-painted technique in gold, in order to make a collage of the cheap blue bird pattern in a luxury material. I painted the bird’s droppings gold, on classically-shaped, porcelain objects. I also used the traditional (roses or matryoshka) patterns on modern types of tableware and vice versa.
